Jamie Broza’s compositions and arrangements have been honored with five Emmy Awards. His first CD for children, “Bad Mood Mom and other Good Mood Songs,” made the Parents’ Choice Foundation’s list of the top 25 children’s CDs in the last 25 years. His follow-up CD, “My Daddy Is Scratchy” also won a Parents’ Choice Silver award as well as a NAPPA Gold award. When he is not writing music for kids Jamie composes for film and television. He penned the score for the film comedy “Bart Got A Room” starring William H. Macy and writes and arranges music for the Tony Awards Broadcast. Jamie produced and scored the music to the feature film musical “Best Summer Ever” and produced the music for “Arthur Miller - Writer”, “Maggie’s Plan”, “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee”, and “The Ballad of Jack and Rose” starring Daniel Day Lewis. He also produced and conducted the score for “Music of Regret” starring Meryl Streep. In the documentary world he composed music for the HBO films; “The Alzheimer’s Project – Momentum In Science”, “Death on a Factory Farm”, “Dealing Dogs”, “Methandonia”, and “Shot in The Dark” -- directed by Adrian Grenier. He has three children, all of whom perform on his kids music, and lives with his wife in New York City.
