WHO IS MARCUS JOHNSON? For almost 20 years, Marcus has been an important piece in the Jazz scene. As an independent artist, he has paved his own way to the billboard charts, releasing over 15 albums including his groundbreaking 2008 Billboard Top 20 Contemporary Jazz FLO (For the Love Of) Anthology, which consisted of three distinct CDs -- FLO Chill, FLO Romance and FLO Standards - all chart Top 10 on Billboard Contemporary Jazz Charts simultaneously. AUDIENCE Marcus’s core audience are Smooth Jazz/ R&B lovers ages 45+ and showing strong growth in the 35 to 45 segment since he’s incorporated more elements of R&B and Hip Hop influence into his performances.
