    The Doups formed in Setubal, Portugal in 2007 while all at University. 2009 saw a fantastic year for the band with an invite to record an EP in London and placing TOP 5 out of 900 Unsigned bands in the EU, in the Supajam Fasttrack to FIB 2009. Not only were The Doups booked for the Rock One Festival along side with The Offspring and My Bloody Valentine but in December 2009 supported Franz Ferdinand in Lisbon. In 2009 they released the "Six O´clock Shadow EP" and in December a single entitled "Now I´m Going". The debut album (Small Town Gossip) was released through OPTIMUS DISCOS in October 15 (2011) after a Portuguese/French/Spanish Tour.
