Биография

The rock group Staggered Crossing – sometimes called simply StagX by fans – is made up of lead singer, songwriter & guitarist Julian "JT" Taylor, drummer Jeremy Elliott, bassist Dan Black, guitarist David Marshall, keyboardist & guitarist Darrell O'Dea, and the late lead guitarist Bruce Adamson. The talented collaboration formed in Toronto, Canada in 1996. The music the group offers is a mixture of rock, blues, and pop inspired by popular music of the sixties through nineties.
The founding members of Staggered Crossing (Taylor, Elliott, Black and Marshall) met in high school. They shared one main interest: the joy that came with making music. After landing a weekly gig in a Toronto bar, the group began to play local venues, releasing their inaugural EP Mold in 1997. Soon they were performing and touring with bands like Spirit of the West, Big Sugar, Nickelback, and a number of others. It gave the members a chance to polish their skills and stage presence.
In 2001, working under the label Warner Music Canada, Staggered Crossing finished a self-titled debut album, featuring the Canadian rock charting single Further Again. The band released their sophomore LP Last Summer When We Were Famous in 2002, and Burgundy & Blue in 2004. While the band parted ways in 2007, they have reunited on multiple occasions since to perform and record, paying tribute to their influences and collaborators along the way.
