In July 2019 singer & songwriter Olli Helenius returned from his 9 year hiatus of writing and performing hard rock and metal. After writing a half of dozen songs he entered studio with his good musician friends guitarist Miko and bassist Tommi. The first single Die For Me was released in Jan 2020. Immediately the song received a warm welcome around the globe. Then followed the second Single Overdose and six song EP Voice To The Nations in April 2020. In Fall 2020 OD caught the attention of several record labels. At the same time Nikke joined the band to be the drummer. The fresh line up started recording their first full length album. The sound and style has developed quite a bit from the debut EP. The new sound has a lot more character and edge. Ocean Dark signed a record deal with a German darkTunes Music Group by the end of 2020. The first single Fallen (March 5th 2021) was the first single release from the full length album Hope & Chaos. Unspeakable was the second single and finally Proclaim. It was released at the same date June 10th 2021 as the whole album.
