- Woah Out 14 April - " Woah " is a track about sensory overload. Whether that refers to the overwhelming feeling we sometimes experience when trying to process trauma or just life in general. When we experience things we cannot process it leaves us saying woah.... phi11a Growing up in the Sydney Inner-West, moving from house to house, nowhere really felt like home. His mother left the family behind when he was 6-years old. Making things harder, his brother technically died for 11 minutes during open-heart surgery, leading to prolonged brain damage. Finding music as an outlet, Phi11a won his first rap battle at age 17. All of this has fuelled and shaped the person he is today. In October 2019 Phi11a debuted ‘Overdose’, produced by Atlanta heavyweight Supah Mario (Drake, Young Thug). His next single ‘Witness’ featured emo-trap icon Trippie Redd, which amassed over 4M streams. Phi11a ventured on, dropping tracks with the likes of Super-producer Scott Storch, Jimmy Duval (XXXTentacion, Lil Pump), and Pop-R&B star Stan Walker. Along the ride, he’s received support from Triple J, No Jumper, DJ Akademiks, Rolling Stone, TRVP, Lyrical Lemonade, RapTV, among others. He's performed at Yours & Owls Festival, Ability Fest, and sold-out two headlined tours in Australia. The emerging artist further cements himself into this scene with his patented flow and untouchable energy that few can hold a candle to.
