Brother ape has its roots in some kind of hard rock from the jura period. But after having captivated from this hangover, they looked through the fog and found the other pre historic path with Genesis , U.K and Yes, a whole new branch to explore ! Inspired by these giants a new chapter in the bands development began. More harmonies were inserted by Stefan D , and now they invested in toms , cymbals and a waste of equipment like Taurus pedals , synthesizers and even a electric grand piano . This overkill in gears gave birth to a generation of longer songs . Some of this material survived and ended up on the debut album ON THE OTHER SIDE 2005 . The band lost a member just before the release and became a trio . But all the arrangements was still a four member task . A cavalry of albums rolled out under this missing keyboard player model . And under this banner they still operates and strive to reach the tree tops of the music jungle ,like the apes they are .
