Bravelake is an alternative metal band hailing from the heart of Columbus Ohio. Formed in 2020, the band quickly gained a reputation for their dynamic sound that blends heavy riffs, intricate melodies, and powerful vocals. The band consists of 5 members: Lead vocals: Brendyn Moxley Guitar: Cole Smith Guitar: Cody Hartley Bass: Kyle McDowell Drums: Jamy Landis Bravelake's music is characterized by its blend of aggressive music and melodic hooks, drawing inspiration from early 2000’s modern rock music, and a mix of new wave metal and hardcore. Their lyrics explore themes of personal struggle, perseverance, and the human condition. Before the band formed in 2020, some of the founding members together had already toured 20 US states. Divided into 3 lengthy tours under the name “I, Apollo” and having worked with multi platinum record selling producer, David Bendeth, (Bring Me The Horizon, Paramore, Breaking Benjamin, I Prevail) the former band came to a halt, reformulating themselves as “Bravelake”. Ditching the early 2010’s metalcore genre and taking a minimalistic mind set to early 2000’s grunge rock (Three Days Grace, Seether,) and formulating other aggressive tracks that give the band a dynamic discography. Bravelake is known for their energetic live shows and Brendyn Moxleys ability to move a crowd, leaving not a dull moment during their shows.
