SWAMPHEAD, born Tom van Acken, grows up somewhere on the Dutch border on the outskirts of the city. Very quickly he realizes that loneliness brings with it many strengths. From loner to daredevil. Prodded by his grandpa's records, SWAMPHEAD senses that musical boundaries are there to be crossed. The relationship the artist has with music is two-sided: energizing and empowering.
