Firebrands are an alternative rock band from Singapore that features a turntablist in its lineup. Founded in 2005, the band is comprised of eXe (vocals; from Singapore), Roman Tarassov (guitar; Moscow, Russia), Ghost (bass; Singapore), Jackin Pousson (drums; Louisiana, United States), and Doctor Mix (turntables; Singapore). In 2006 they released their debut album, First the Flash Then the Pulse, which spawned the single "Scarecrow and the Fire."
