Aliquid is a Heavy Metal band, formed in Brazil in 2003. After a few years of rehearsals and several changes in its lineup, the band was able to record their first demo CD in 2009. Well received by the critics, the demo was highly praised on the site Whiplash and by Rock Brigade magazine, among others. Musically, Aliquid tries not to be attached to any subgenre of Heavy Metal, but uses several elements, from different backgrounds, to merge melodic harmonies with the inherent weight of Metal, always seeking a greater degree of intensity in their songs. After a short hiatus, starting 2015, the band resumes the recording of the vocals and the mixing of their first album, with the renowned Brazilian producer Tito Falaschi. By 2016, the band starts to harvest the fruits of the new formation, participating in several music festivals, being one of the semifinalist bands of Manifesto Rock Fest 2016. Currently, the band works on gradually releasing online the songs that will compose their upcoming album.
