Биография
The Graveyard Boulevard is a rock ‘n’ roll band from North Carolina with punk and metal influences. Drawing inspiration from all things dark and creepy, the band has released six full-length albums since 2003 and continues to be active - performing, writing, and recording new material. The early days of the band spawned raw punk (and often low budget) tunes, usually with lyrics based on indie horror films. Many of those tracks were rereleased digitally as Monster Melodies and collected songs from Toe Tags & Body Bags (2003) and Dead City Radio (2006). In 2009, the Rock Scars album was released. It included eight songs and six bonus demo songs. By 2011, the Graveyard Boulevard had matured into a band striving for better song-writing and higher quality recordings. That year saw the release of O.G.RE. (Organization of Generally Rotten Enterprises) on Horror High Records, which included many favorites that the band still performs. A digital EP called What Doesn't Kill Me Only Makes Me Laugh was released in 2014. In 2019, the album Subhuman Stage was released on CD. The most recent full length album, Will Will Wither (2022) contains some of the band's best material. New singles are currently being written and recorded. Founding member, Abby Normal (singer/guitarist/songwriter) began creating music in the 1990’s with the bands Maniac Spider Trash and The Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13. Songs from both those early bands can also be found online.
