Loma Suyo (Liz Fullerton and Ish Quintero), release their second full length record into the world. They met in Philadelphia through the project Dutch a collaboration between Fullerton and hip-hop producer Kevin Baldwin (aka Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind) which released their only record “A Bright Cold Day” in 2010 on the Indie label of Jedi Mind Trick’s Vinnie Paz, Enemy Soil. In 2019 Liz and Ish started a new project called Loma Suyo, born out of their shared love of mixing acoustic folk instruments with electronic music. This was a chance for them to draw on elements of their upbringing in Latin America, Ish being from Colombia and Liz being raised in Mexico. Their debut album “Oriana” was an exploration into that sound and was released only weeks before the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. Two years later, now based in the Catskill mountains of upstate New York, they release their second full length record “Agata” which is a dive into their evolving sound evoking the likes of Latin American electronic music. “Agata” is out Dec 21st, 2022.
