​A Moment In Time was as a collaborative experiment lead by Franco Freda, a singer-songwriter born & raised in Argentina. The songs that became part of this album were composed in Sydney, Australia, (late 2013) using nothing else but an acoustic guitar, and an iPhone. The lyrics and the melodies are heavily influenced by the experiences of living abroad and travelling alone. In 2014, back in Buenos Aires, Franco started pre-producing these tracks on a small rehearsal room along with drummer Matias Gaffoglio. Later on, they were joined by Mauricio Maranghello, who took on the role of co-producer and became fundamental in shaping the sound of the album. The eclectic nature of the tracks demanded to have different musicians on each one of them. Franco started sharing demos with friends and colleagues he got to know over the previous 10 years in Buenos Aires, from previous projects (i.e. Zellekin, Los Condors), as well as renowned personalities of the underground scene (ie. Jaque Reina, Cazacuervos, Alunar). Over a dozen of them got involved resulting in an attractive mix of 'play styles' & sound approaches. The recording process started in July, and spanned through a lot of different settings ranging from professional rooms and home-studios, to improvised portable recording setups, until it all got mixed together by Pablo Fontan at Pome! Studio. The mixing process finished around September, and the mastering was done in London, UK by Jaime Gomez Arellano, at Orgone Studios.
