Биография

Tchiya Amet has been a Native Reggae and World Music artist for over 30 years.  As she evolved spiritually and healed herself from past trauma, she founded KemeTones: Cosmic Sound Healing. Now her music includes influences from Mysteries and Teachings from Kemet: Ancient African Egyptian spirituality, 13 Month Sidereal Astrology, and  Cosmic Sound Healing. In addition to keyboards and vocals, she has begun playing the Cosmic Chimes, the Seprewa Ghanaian Harp, Njarke Ghanaian Cello, the Sistrum, Thumb Cymbals, and other percussion instruments. Originally from Chicago, Tchiya began performing Reggae music while living in Austin, Texas. She found the sound healing while living in Northern California. And, she has recently moved back to Chicago to establish the Light Being Wellness Center, on the Southside, homebase for her music, sound healing and line of wellness products.
