Speak In Whispers is a five-piece metal band originating from the town of Larnaca on Cyprus' south east coast. The band formed in late 2017 when bandmembers Andreas Spyrou (Vocals), Antonis Koumbari (Guitar), Deniel Pavlovskiy (Bass/Vocals), Alex Iacovou (Drums) and Andreas Hadjipandelis (Guitar) felt ready to move on from cover bands to writing their own material. After a series of successful shows in their local scene, the band recorded and self-produced their first EP "The Dark Descent" which was released independently in 2020. Drawing from their diverse musical backgrounds, the band melds elements from groove, progressive and industrial metal with cryptic atmospheres and heavy guitar riffs. Speak In Whispers have so far supported bands such as Freak Kitchen and Poem. The band is currently in the pre-production stage of their debut album, which will be released late 2022.
