David Evans is based in Rochester Kent in the south east of England. Rochester is a part of an area called the Medway towns, which is named after the river Medway which flows past and through the area. Medway is renown for its music scene with many bands having a 60s influenced feel crossed with the punk spirit of bands like The Clash, Ramones and the Jam. David Evans is the former singer, guitarist and songwriter of the Detour Records 90s power pop trio NOW!. NOW! Released two EPs and were included on various compilation albums, they also sold six songs to the Japanese label “Flavour Records” whilst signed to Detour. David has after not much persuasion returned to music releasing three tracks “Magazine Girl “, “The Key “ and Waterlight from the forthcoming album called “Dave, Ricky Tennessee and the Milkman” due for release June 18. The album is work in progress and is being recorded at Ten21 Studios in Maidstone Kent. The three tracks are available to download now and the album will be available to download and also on Cd. These tracks are exciting,passionate and full of tension. PLAY LOUD ENJOY 1st June 2018: Dave,Ricky Tennessee and the Milkman is now released to download, CDs will be available soon.
