Slant: To take a diagonal course, direction, or path. Genre - Hard Rock | Alternative | Metal Just like its definition, Slant is nothing ordinary. All members come from various backgrounds with life experiences that influence their unique form of rock. Musical influences stem from artists such as: Tool, System of a Down, Deftones, Avenged Sevenfold, and Nirvana. Slant’s early singles “Broken Wings” and “All I’m Good For” received nationwide radio play including the support of KROQ 106.7 on the Locals Only Show. The popular track “Lying and Bleeding” was licensed in the Lionsgate Film “Beatdown” and PS video game "MMA Supremacy." The band premiered the music video for their cover of U2’s “With or Without You” together with Parvez Imagery and co-produced by Munir Haque.
