Van der Vous is a Brazilian band from 2013 lead by Vitor Vous. After launching his debut album, La Fuga (2014), a psychedelic rock influenced by The Doors, The Growlers etc, the band had been standing out in some local newspapers such as "Jornal A Tarde", and on major music blogs, such as El Cabong and the famous Noisey Vice. It was also cited in 2016 as “dos exponentes de la nueva psicodelia brasilera” by Noisey Vice. They played countless shows between 2013 and 2020. In the winter of 2017, Vitor travelled to Argentina and recorded his second album, “Espectro Solar”. In 2018, the single “Vanity Lies” was released, and the artist-producer Danger Mouse selected for his playlist, Danger Mouse Jukebox, boosting the band's streaming in the USA. During the Argentine period, he was selected, among 400 artists, to record two singles at a studio made by the government of Buenos Aires. Back to Brazil passing the pandemic times, the artist released a video-clip for the song Vanity Lies and also released a single with the influence of Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Tom Jobim, Jazz Night and Good Vibrations, with influences from the English rock band Cream, which were included in the third album that was released in 2020 Oct. In 2021, there is one new single that he will be releasing in the next week, called "Águas" and he pretend to release the fourth album later this year. There will be a second release by April, a song called "Tulips", influenced by The Doors and others.
