Kayden began making music, like many, in a bedroom using Garageband and a $100 microphone. It quickly stumbled into more than just a hobby and now finds himself competing with the best of local talent around Chicago and the Midwest with his EPs Overboard, Neverland and Amsterdam, taking inspiration from other Pop, Pop Rap and Electropop artists such as Liam Payne, Justin Jesso, Conor Maynard and The Chainsmokers. Kayden’s ability to blend a commercial mainstream pop sound with a grittier, lyrically-focused electronic influence and “hometown feel” has caught the attention of Spotify Editorial Playlists New Music Friday France, Sunday Funday and Indie Summer. He’s accumulated just over 5 million streams and is well on his way to the next 5 million with so much more in store. What many people might not know is that his YouTube channel is filled with professionally recorded cover videos, where he’s seen commercial success breaking down mainstream radio tracks into vocally soothing ballads, which are gathered in his Covers album.
