    Ailton “TRKZ” Matavela is a young artist based in Mozambique. He discovered music quite late through recording sessions in 2012, and in the beginning of 2016, he became a performing artist through a classical philarmonic community project called Xiquitsi. He started exploring music and sounds on his own and released a rap album entitled "Filhos da Terra" in November 2016 through Kongoloti Records, an independent mozambican label. Soon experimental music took over as he engaged in the process of learning how to play different instruments such as the traditional "Mbira”, the classic guitar, keyboard, percussions as well as editing and producing his own music. Very much passionate about his production side, he embraces the many facets of his art and is keen to deliver a music that truly defines and represents him. It is quirky and conceptual with dreamy melodic waves that come to catch you by surprise.
