Биография
If bands like Foo Fighters, Weezer, and Pearl Jam are considered the last generation of guitar rock, then Florida-based Noiseheads are part of the next generation’s exception alongside such modern rock and alternative contemporaries as Fontaines D.C., Turnstile, and Bartees Strange. Noiseheads’ self-produced first LP, the not-so-subtly titled 1994 followed by their eponymous EP Noiseheads in 2015 and the modern rock opera Sitcoms for Aliens in 2017, all earned rave reviews and adds on both commercial & college alternative radio stations in addition to hundreds of modern rock playlists. Noiseheads has built a devoted and passionate subterranean following among fans of old-school alternative and modern rock. In the process, they've also attracted a lot of attention from many prominent figures in the music industry, sharing line-ups with the likes of pop rock hit-makers Collective Soul, post-grunge rockers Fuel, modern indie artist K.Flay and classic alternative The Psychedelic Furs, and have been praised as "one of America’s most promising young modern rock bands” (Alternative Nation) and “the closest thing to an alternative rock revival the US has seen in a long time.” (Floated Mag) The trio has recently recorded with both Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, Cloud Nothings) and Lincoln Parish (Lilly Hiatt, ex-Cage The Elephant), and they plan to hit the road while steadily dropping singles throughout the rest of 2022. – Doug McCausland
