Mackareo – an exciting established artist who creates a sensation every time he performs, extremely versatile, executing sounds from Dancehall, Amapiano and his focus Afrobeats. 2017 was a defining year for Mackareo, his song ‘Peng Ting’ smashed a million views on GRM Daily and achieved over four hundred thousand (400k) streams, with even the likes of model Jourdan Dunn sharing ‘Peng Ting’ with her 2.9 million followers on Instagram, gaining Mackareo global recognition in Africa, US, Germany and numerous other global locations.  The recognition saw an increase in requests for him to perform globally and he performed in New York, a personal ambition for Mackareo.   2019 Mackareo’s star continues to rise, Dadju (younger brother to Maitre Gimz) requested Mackareo perform at his sold out UK show and bought him out at the iconic 02 venue in East London, this was a great opportunity for Mackareo to showcase his talents to a UK audience, the response showed he was appreciated and they wanted more of this upcoming star.   Stefflon Don recognised Mackareo’s talent and he was called to go on tour with Stefflon Don, Russ Millions and Big Tobz, the tour was a great success, Mackareo was able to demonstrate his trademark of creating bi-lingual songs in English, French and Lingala.   Recently Mackareo toured with N Dubz on their sold out 23 venue arena tour, including 4 sold out shows at the 02, Wes Nelson, Russ Millions and A1 & J1 also joined the tour.
