Биография
Jake Hallendorff is a 28 year old singer-songwriter/rapper from Chicago, IL. Hallendorff began making music in his dorm room as a sophomore at Augustana College following an arrest for a fake ID. While taking a break from the party scene, he spent his days writing in his dorm room and at night would record until the early hours of the morning. During the spring of 2016, he released a single titled "18 Years Old" which would eventually gain traction on campus and solidify his blend of Hip-Hop/Indie-Pop. Hallendorff would later cap off his experience at Augie with opening performances for artists like Hippocampus and Marc E. Bassy. After graduation in 2017, he began working as a Financial Analyst but his love for music only grew stronger. Influenced by artists such as NF, Quinn XCII, and Jon Bellion, Hallendorff released a series of singles that showcased his story-telling ability accompanied by a catchy hook. These singles mainly encompassed his struggle with anxiety, OCD, and depression in hopes that his music could benefit someone who might be struggling with a similar battle. In late 2018/early 2019, Hallendorff changed his artist name to Halle and would go on to release four singles under this alias. These singles were heavily influenced by indie-pop but would later be re-released as an EP titled "Halle" after he decided to go back to releasing music as Jake Hallendorff in late 2019.
