RXYZYXR was founded as an instrumental progressive metal band in 2010 in Saint Petersburg. After the first demo record Geometrical Metal had been released, Florida-based vocalist Thomas Wills joined the band. The first album LMNTS was released in November 2012 and was favourably received in the media and by public opinion. After a series of shows played in 2012-2013 the band stopped its activity for several years. In 2018 RXYZYXR has decided to get back to their instrumental roots and released new album II of V.
