Биография

Altamina is a Montreal based indie band formed in 2012. Their first instrumental/electronic album was released online and received positive blog critiques and airplay on select Internet radios. The band later released their sophomore album Tomorrow Morning Will Be Tonight in 2016 recorded and mixed at Hotel-2-Tango by Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire, Wolf Parade). The album received favorable reviews by bloggers and hit top 30 charts on multiple college radios. The album was supported by a string of gigs in Quebec including opening for the band Big Thief. After a brief hiatus, the band has been working on new songs with a new EP planned and the release of their first single “Take over the Sea” on February 20 2020.
