Synead is a genre-bending singer and performance artist based in New York City. She explores various themes of the human condition as well as how it shapes her existence through conversation, music, movement, & performance. Her inspiration is deeply rooted in her quest for community healing, self-awareness, and the freedom and advancement of queer & black and indigenous people of color. Synead’s artistry is not bound by mediums, but bound to the varied expressions of life. 
 In the last years, she has appeared on Apple Music's Beats 1 with Ebro Darden, debuted in the Drama Desk nominated and New York Times Critic’s Pick Off-Broadway Jazz Opera, The Hang, and most recently performed at the infamous Lincoln Center & Dizzy’s Jazz Club as part of a Western Swing Band aptly named, The Black Rose of Texas led by the Black Americana great, Queen Esther. 
 Synead most recently released her latest single “Daydream', a stunning, crescendoing acapella, with Weird Sister Records and will be releasing her debut EP “The Pum Pum Room” in early 2023.
