IROH is the brainchild of singer and guitarist Brandon Welch (of Planet of the Sun and Far-Less )
 Welch began writing the songs for the new project, then asked friend Billy Steele (Aside Oceans and Pathway) to play lead guitar and help polish the tracks. From there, Portland-based drummer and close friend Rayland Felts (Far-Less and Rayland808 ) tracked the drums and Florida-based bassist and friend Steve Martin (Hand To Hand ) provided bass. 
Conceptually, “They Ride” is a literal ride. Like, in a car. A 1972 Dodge Demon to be precise. All of the songs and the storyline parts are presented through this car radio. Listeners will join the main characters as they ride through the wastelands of Southeastern USA searching for signs of life and fighting the zombie hordes. All to an excellent soundtrack.
