Capital Public Radio, February 2019 California based comedian Keith Lowell Jensen had been performing for a decade before recording his debut album in 2009, the independently released To The Moon. After one more independent release (Cats Made of Rabbits, 2011) Jensen signed with Stand Up! Records for a three album run (Elf Orgy, 2013, Atheist Christmas, 2014, Bad Comedy For Bad People, 2018). During this period Jensen also produced and starred in a documentary about panhandling (Why Lie? I Need a Drink) and a concert film of The Coexist Comedy Tour which played on the STARZ network. In 2018, after a messy and very public break up with Stand Up! Records Jensen teamed up with 800 Pound Gorilla to release KLJ! Greatest Bits within months of his final Stand Up! Records release. In October 2019 Unclean was released by 800 Pound, and in 2020 Not For Rehire was released as an album and live special. Jensen continues to tour relentlessly (and virtually during the Covid 19 shelter in place order). He lives in Sacramento with his wife, and daughter.
