Since the release this New Zealand born singer songwriters first solo project in 2000 a lot has changed, but what hasn’t changed is Phil’s commitment to creating thought provoking, melodic songs for listeners who like to listen beyond the sound. Whether as a solo artist, the lead singer of Zealand or his role in Newsboys, Phil always brings his passion and life interpretations to the songwriting table. His latest solo project, ’Better Than I Found It’ (Street date 22nd Jan 2021) was recorded while quarantining in his home studio and is a compelling collection of songs that make statements of unity and love, encouraging us all to take better care of ourselves, our fellow man and the planet.
