Entransient is a rock band from Grand Rapids, Michigan, exploring progressive, ambient, metal, and alternative territory. Building upon a foundation of influences across all rock, progressive, and metal genres, the five-piece band paints with a diverse, well balanced palette. Entransient makes it clear that they are at home crafting melodic songs both simple and complex, beautiful and dark, tackling deeply personal and broadly societal lyrical themes. Featuring vocalist Scott Martin, guitarists Nick Hagen and Doug Murray, bassist Matt Schrauben, and drummer Jeremy Hyde, Entransient employs technical prowess in support of the songwriting that remains at the forefront of their 2018 album The Weight of Things. The band released the gripping single Ghosts In The Halls in November 2021, which will be the title track from their third full-length album, due for release in 2022. Entransient has played in support of some of progressive music’s heaviest hitters on North American tour stops, and was featured at the international progressive music festival RoSfest in 2019.
