Formed in early 2015, the band carries a classic sound yet fresh groove metal in which they incorporate prog, thrash, death and hard rock elements to the table. Releasing their first studio work in April 2015, a 4 tracks EP named "Aurt", aclaimed by the critics and nominated to several awards. Sobernot were aknowledge as the revelation band on that year. From 2016 to 2017 the band played over 50 shows all over Chile gaining a solid fanbase thanks to their powerful live performances, while simultaneusly working on their first LP throughout 2017. On 22 April 2018 Sobernot releases their first album "Silent Conspiracy" Sobernot released their second studio LP on July 7th of 2022, called “Destroy”, keeping the riffs unique identity, powerful lyrics and excepcional choruses, powered by the co-production of Franco Gabelo (CL), and mastered at Fascination Street Studios (SWE) by world class producer Tony Lindgren (Sepultura, Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Kreator). They also hired the brutal british artist Sandeev Reehal (Sepultura, Archspire) for the artwork. They’ve opened shows for Havok (2018), and Crisix (2018). Also, shared stage with three of the most iconic exponents of the old school thrash metal genre: At War, Hirax and Exodus on 2019. 3 years later after the pandemic, they were chosen to open for the death metal legends Suffocation and Incantation on September 13th of 2022.
