La band è un vero concentrato di divertimento, tecnica e pazzia: se dovesse capitarti di vederli dal vivo, ricordati di indossare scarpe comode, perché sarà molto difficile riuscire a resistere al ritmo delle canzoni storiche italiane rivisitate in chiave punk/rock’n’roll… La band nasce nel 2002 dalle ceneri di tre delle più influenti Punk Band anconetane degli anni ’90 e sin da subito, ispirandosi agli americani Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, decide di riproporre una rivisitazione punk/rock’n’roll/hardcore di canzoni storiche italiane. In quindici anni di sfrenata carriera gli Io e i Gomma Gommas hanno tenuto più di 350 concerti in giro per l’Italia. **ENGLISH VERSION** Speed, ear-catching melodies, rock’n’roll and – above all - Fun, Fun, Fun! This is the defining style of Osimo's Io E I Gomma Gommas. The band is a mix of entertainment, technique and madness – when you go see them live, bring your dancing shoes. No one can resist the distinctive punk rock'n'roll sound played over the lyrics to some of Italy's most famous songs. Io e i Gomma Gommas formed in the Marche region of Italy in 2002. Their name is inspired by the American kings of punk rock covers, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. During their 15-year career, Io e i Gomma Gommas have played more than 300 shows all over Italy.
