Combining contemporary R&B with gritty cloud rap, Buffalo, NY native “Pr0 Social” has something for the casual rap fan and the loyal underground Hip-Hop head. Growing up in his hometown of Rochester, NY, 25-yr-old Jerrell Lanos spent most of his upbringing as a singer/songwriter for other local artists. Taking inspiration from artists like D’Angelo, Miguel, Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, Saba, Smino, JID, and many others; the young songwriter developed an impressive knack for putting lyrics together. In 2018, he released a collab album titled “Frequencies” with fellow Buffalo native ‘Jedi”. The project was produced exclusively by Birdie Bandz, and offered a change of pace for both rappers to rap over more trap-influenced instrumentals. In July 2019, Lanos released his debut album “In Due Time”. The rapper/singer touched on a vast range of topics including: race, family, love, lust, loyalty, and mental health. In 2020, Lanos continued to impress with his next singles “Chainsmoking” and “Blade”, both becoming two of his most popular songs to date. 
 Since the release of his debut album, the rapper/singer has been praised for having such a distinct and different sound in an area vastly dominated by underground street rap. With clever bars, exceptional R&B vocals and harmonies, and always a message you can get behind; Pr0 Social has become a force to be reckoned with in the underground hip-hop scene while the city and the world patiently await for his next full-length album
