DFRNT now works under the name Stillhead. Before making the switch to work as Stillhead, Alex Cowles worked under the alias DFRNT for around 6 years. Producing 4 albums, more than 20 EPs and countless remixes and appearances on compilations. After much deliberation, he switched alias and started producing under the name Stillhead with a fresh, more meticulous approach to his deep electronic music. Since his days as DFRNT, he has run the Brightest Dark Place and Cut labels and the now defunct Echodub. Listen to the Cut Records Releases here and the Brightest Dark Place Releases here.
