Yasmina, also known as Sunkissed Child, is a Lebanese artist based in London. She expresses her life story through a fusion of cultures, languages, and genres, drawing inspiration from Neo-soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, and her Middle Eastern roots. Since her debut single in 2022, Sunkissed Child has gained significant industry support from prominent figures such as Emily Pilbeam on BBC Introducing: West Yorkshire, Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6, and Jamz Supernova on Selector Radio. Recognized as a rising star in the UK Neo-Soul scene, Sunkissed Child was featured on The Pit London's 'Tracks of 2022' and long-listed for Glastonbury and PRS Foundation's Emerging Talent Competition in 2023. With her dedicated band, she has performed at renowned venues including the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds and Ninety One Living Room in London. Festival appearances include Live at Leeds, Last Time out Festival, and We Out Here Festival. Sunkissed Child has also supported influential artists such as B-ahwe, Tamzene and parthenope. She also actively collaborates with other musicians and projects, including Yusuf Yellow and the Energy Collective and featuring on tracks with jazz fusion band Plantfood.
