With his beautifully soulful, yet amazingly exciting voice, and truly heartfelt sound, 20 year-old singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer DOCTOR JAY continues to captivate crowds with his music. DOCTOR JAY's mission is to inspire, enlighten and bring joy to all who take the time to listen, but also endeavours to explore deep and complex concepts with his writing, wishing to be known as a 'Storyteller'. The story behind the name explains that he had seen loved ones go through struggles and pains he felt he could not help with, and the helplessness, along with being on the outside of everyone’s pain, lead him to discover music as a means of possibly shedding light on their circumstances, through telling stories and acknowledging different struggles through song. 
 2020 saw the release of his debut EP "The Start of Something Spectacular" featuring his first 7 songs that indeed explored different ideas and areas of life, while experimenting with genres like Gospel, Hip Hop, Pop and Ballads to name a few, and more recently venturing into styles like R&B, afro-influenced Pop and even singer-songwriter. 
 DOCTOR JAY's songs have seen competent radio play at local radio stations, and his 2021 single "Complicated" made it onto BBC Introducing, landing performance opportunities around London, and general interest from the local UK public. Following this he continues to write, plan projects, and search for new perspectives he can explore through his music.
