South Carolina’s Jordan Lawson is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter with an introspective approach to crafting music. By using a mix of contemplative lyrics, groove-heavy rhythms, and rock and R&B instrumentation, Lawson creates an alternative indie-soul sound paired with his raspy and soulful voice that stands out amongst the flourishing music scene of the Carolinas. A student of his craft since the age of seven, Lawson has explored multiple outlets of musical expression by composing and writing original music while learning the guitar, drums, and bass. He has performed music for the past ten years along the east coast and has been featured and praised on radio stations such as 93.3 The Planet Rocks and 103.5 FM WBCU. His latest EP, NIGHTFALL, was voted as a finalist for Best EP at the 4th annual Upstate Music Awards right before graduating from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a B.A in Commercial Music. The “Midnight Son” is currently performing shows with The High Tides while recording and releasing new singles with his twin brother and producer, heykob. :):
