Hotel Hugo is the passion project turned band of Garrett Williams that features a cast of talented local musicians. The group began releasing singles early in 2022 and playing live shows later that summer. Thanks to the support of the Charleston music scene, Hotel Hugo has been able to perfect their set as they had opportunities to share the stage with many regional acts. Though their sound is ever evolving, the current incarnation can be described as indie rock with influence from the 60s and 70s. Garrett's songwriting is heartfelt and honest, yet playful, drawing inspiration from the beauty in everyday life, friendship, and the desire for escapism. The band is currently in the studio recording some new songs that they are excited to share later this year.
