The Angelics are an alternative rock band based in Athens, GA. They have crafted a warm and inviting live experience paired with an electrifying stage presence. Their showmanship has been honed through gigs at Athens’ most popular venues and live-music bars like the 40-Watt Club and Boar’s Head Lounge. The Angelics’ sound is a blend of the band's shared musical influences ranging from Indie Rock, Funk, and Jazz to Post-Punk and New Wave; sonically reminiscent of the Backseat Lovers crossed with The Smiths. With frontman Caleb Heiple on lead vocals, lead guitarist Jason Angelich, keys player Conner Beitzell, and long-time drummer and bassist duo Conner Ankerich and Jonathan Ngo, the band consistently executes a visceral and engaging live performance. Their diverse musical backgrounds mesh to create a unique and memorable sound that has proven to appeal to a wide audience.
