Holidae House began with two brothers, Ryan and Grant Logan, and close family friend Ryan Alexander. Together they learned to play music at a young age, and quickly began writing music with several prototypes of what is now Holidae House. After moving to Portland, Oregon from Sacramento, California, the band started to collaborate with producer Eric Lemiere and producer/guitarist Alex Thompson. Soon after, they released their first self-titled EP in 2016. The debut release demonstrates an explorative phase for the band, with styles ranging from psychedelic, dream pop and shoe-gaze, to art rock, euro-rock and synth pop. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Pink Floyd as well as more contemporary artists such as My Morning Jacket and Radiohead, Holidae House creates a dark, yet mesmerizing sound that both captivates and uplifts the listener. With the release of their second EP, "Fire and Ember" in 2018, Holidae House reveals a much more focused songwriting form. Unlike the experimental tangents captured in their first record, "Fire and Ember" tackles a much more specific subject matter while still remaining true to their genre blending style. The record confronts the fears and frustrations found in all relationships- those with friends, family, and even one's self. The band is currently self-producing their first full length record, with singles expected to be released in early 2019.
