Over the past 5 years, Tony Dark has established a new lane in hip-hop music with his distinctive sound and ability to lay a formidable sonic foundation. Based in Houston, Texas, Tony Dark has 18+ releases under his belt, each one just as dynamic as the next. Dark operates with no ceilings and no rules. Weather he is working with one artist for an entire EP or joining forces with an array of talented artists. Dark has the innate ability to build a sound that fits each new musical venture like a glove. Dark has orchestrated custom sounds for Mickey Woods Jr, Sundown from Actual Proof, Guilty Simpson, Danny Watts, Brice Blanco, Kvng David, Dopecal and plenty more. Aside from custom musical creations, Dark has participated in multiple beat battles including NXNE’s USA vs. Canada beat battle in 2014, has been invited to BREAL TV’s Dr. Greenthumb show for his 2017 release “The Tony Dark Experience” and his 2019 release “Self Love”. Tony Dark has had his work featured on media outlets across the spectrum of hip-hop reporting. While Tony Dark cannot be boxed in to a “Houston sound”, his hometown presence is very real including his work with The Waxaholics, a collective of industry entrepreneurs, which has found him on stages with the likes of HouseShoes, Scoop DeVille, Statik Selektah, DJ Aktive, Big Daddy Kane, EPMD, Rakim, Rah Digga, Lyric Jones, Cali Agents, Camp Lo, Slum Village and many more.
