If you’ve spent any time in Ibiza or Mykonos over the last few years, you will surely know one of the true cornerstones: Jean Claude Ades. The German/ French DJ and producer is a staple of the international electronic music scene, but it’s his contributions to the Ibiza and Mykonos party culture that really embody his influence on dance music. Ades comes from a long musical background and his career as a music producer is a true reflection of that. His colorful influences and relentless work ethic have spawned over 20+ years of pristine, high-profile hits and Beatport #1’s. His DJing prowess saw him touring throughout Europe, Asia and South America. In 2012 he decided to make a home base in Ibiza in 2012, where he really began to leave his mark on the magical White Isle. The birth of his B!CRAZY party propelled Ades into the top tier of movers and shakers on the island. With a deep and intrinsic love of music that favors deep bass, crisp drums and a constant striving for authenticity, Ades’ residencies are a pursuit of evolving, expansive moods - it’s not about providing a quick rush for audiences but developing a feeling that will stay with dancers for long after the night, weaving progressive and tribal elements into his musical journeys that transcend genre boundaries.
