Barely in her teens, VF7, is here to prove she means business - with performances of her high-energy songs, which cleverly combine urban music with fun and straightforward songwriting. Valeria Fernández, VF7 real name, brings together intense themes inspired by her own life experiences and transforms them into pieces that are guided by the foundations laid down by the fathers of old-school and contemporary rap. Despite being a newcomer to the scene, VF7 is no stranger to music. At 8 years old, she played the “güira”, a typical instrument from her home place, Puerto Rico. She had the opportunity to play it with the group “Rumba Caliente” for some time. A creative at heart, VF7 has been writing lyrics since she was eleven years old. VF7’s inherited her love for music from her mother, who composed songs in her childhood, and from her great grandmother, who sang in different events. Her goal is to take her music all over the world and to write songs about how she feels and what’s going on in her life and see people have fun with what she says. 2021 looks set to be a busy year for VF7
