Carlton Davis Mays Jr. (professionally known as Honorable C.N.O.T.E.) is the secret weapon for some of the biggest names in the rap industry today. Born and raised in the Benton Harbor, Michigan, C.N.O.T.E lays claim to over 7,000 production credits and is responsible for songs such as Trippie Redd's “Dark Knight Dummo (Feat. Travis Scott),” Migos’ “Freak No More," Lil Uzi Vert’s “20 Min” and the stadium staple “New Level (feat. Future)” by A$AP Ferg. In addition, C.N.O.T.E. has produced for artists such as Travis Scott, Jack Harlow, Young Thug, Future, 2 Chainz, as well as the first legend to rap over his production, Gucci Mane. C.N.O.T.E. isn’t just a hip-hop producer his versatility and reputation as a forward-thinking producer has led to co-producing songs like Christina Aguilera’s “Accelerate (feat. Ty Dolla $ign & 2 Chainz)” with Kanye West and MIKE DEAN; and Mark Ronson’s “Truth (feat. Alicia Keys & The Last Artful, Dodgr)."
