The story sounds like a millennial fairy tale: For years, Sebastian Eggerbauer aka Telquist has been working on his own beats in secret and only for himself, until at some point the public catches wind of what has been growing in the hidden: well-hung indie sound, a kind of sampling that you probably haven't heard outside of hip hop, and a voice that somehow doesn't seem to care about it all. This highly specific mix earns Telquist several million streams, a Netflix intro, and appearances on German TV shows like Inas’s Nacht.
