Hank Schyma has a dedicated 15 year history in the band Southern Backtones which received worldwide exposure on MTV2, TV shows, movies and national radio. He’s also a famous storm chaser making appearances on The Discovery Channel and The Weather Channel while he captured air time worldwide on National Geographic, an action film and TV affiliates everywhere. A wild man who’s true tales of wrestling tornadoes, wrangling rattlesnakes and riding waves (one of his first loves was surfing in California) are indeed on par with the larger than life folklore cowboy “Pecos Bill”! A contagious energy surrounds his lanky frame, his speaking manner is calm, his wit is bright. He presents as a wanderer with an affinity for lonely deserts, Western fringe, and New Orleans Voodoo.
