Born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas to musical parents, Rik had been blessed with a Musical and Artist gift that undoubtedly is in his blood. He started out with his first interest in Drums and Percussions at the age of 5 then ventured into Keyboards and soon after, Singing. By his Teen years, Rik had already had discovered a passion for music production and song writing, of which many of his peers and family took notice and supported. 
 To this day he still feels it was a true blessing to begin the New Millennium in this fashion. Bahamas’ musical Icon, Baha Men surged to world-wide acclaim, in 2000, with their dance remix of the Caribbean hit, ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’, earning the band the music industries most coveted honor, a Grammy Award. With Rik on vocal lead, Baha Men also won two (2) Billboard awards in 2000, for Best Group and Best Song; and two (2) Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards in 2001. 
 Rik was exposed and attracted to music from as far as he can remember. Through his work with Baha Men and his love for music, Rik has performed, written, produced music and traveled to many different countries around the world, exposing him to many different recording and musical environments.
