Roberto Tola is an international critically acclaimed multi awarded Italian guitarist, composer and arranger. He began playing the guitar at the age of 6 and in his almost 40 years career has toured, performed and/or recorded with top class musicians, including Billy Cobham, Tom Harrell, Carla Bley, Steve Swallow, Andy Sheppard, Norma Winstone, Richard Galliano, Shakatak, Jill Saward, Bill McGee, Bob Mintzer, Eric Marienthal, Scott Wilkie, Bill Sharpe, Tim Collins, Najee, Paul Taylor, Paula Atherton, Rocco Ventrella, Andrea Tofanelli and many more. He has been candidate to the Grammy Awards several times, and got many outstanding international achievements and awards, so as reaching the top of many music radio charts all around the world. He is one of the most representative exponents of the crossover jazz genre, a blend of jazz, jazz funk, fusion and latin jazz.
