Pisces is the fuzz-folk/ mystic solo project from Sarah Negahdari, best known as dynamic front-woman and lead guitarist of indie band Happy Hollows. Pisces features lushly blended vocals combined with elements of folk and psychedelic rock, while still showcasing strong pop melodies and innovative song structures. To record the songs, Sarah worked with L.A. producer Joel Morales (Dios, Babies on Acid) as well as getting additional recording and production assistance from Mighty Lemon Drops guitarist David Newton (The Little Ones). Pisces’ songs are inspired by images of love, the supernatural, and transcendence. They span a spectrum between whimsical daydreams to compositions with an almost spiritual, ethereal quality.
